Partnering
Strategic partnerships represent an important avenue for MAP Pharmaceuticals to reach a broader set of patients with our therapies, and affect a broader set of drug targets with our technology. We will continue to evaluate partnerships in order to:
- Maximize the commercial value of our existing pipeline through select clinical development and marketing alliances that broaden patient reach either through access to ex-US geographies or to primary care physicians.
- Opportunistically exploit the broad potential of our proprietary formulation and delivery technologies through Research and Development collaborations and out-licensing arrangements.
Based on the Tempo® inhaler platform's performance, design and versatility, MAP Pharmaceuticals will be evaluating partnerships with companies that possess proprietary small molecule, peptide or protein therapeutics that may benefit from pulmonary delivery with the Tempo inhaler.
- Expand our pipeline through the in-licensing of therapeutic candidates in our primary areas of focus.
MAP Pharmaceuticals is interested in building our product portfolio in the areas of respiratory diseases, neurology/CNS and pediatrics and is actively evaluating in-licensing, acquisition and co-development opportunities in these areas.
