MAP0005 for the Treatment of
Adolescent/Adult Asthma and COPD
MAP0005 demonstrates our ability to apply our proprietary technologies to combine two drugs within a single particle in a pre-specified ratio and deliver it to the respiratory tract using our Tempo® inhaler. This approach has potential broad applicability for a number of additional combination product candidates in diverse indications. MAP0005 is a combination of an inhaled corticosteroid and a long-acting beta agonist for the potential treatment of adult asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). We announced positive results from a Phase 2a clinical trial of MAP0005 in April 2008.
